The balance between the Executive and Legislative Branches must be left to interactions in the future world. The powers and duties of the President reflect current reality. On the other hand, the power of House Committees to investigate is clear, and the power of the Senate to force an executive resignation over the budget is new. There is much reliance here on the public voice of the national Senate to counter the PR machine of the White House.
